LAST MINUTE MIRACLE

Text: Job 14:7; Esther6:1-10

Esther 6: 1, 2, 8 & 10- On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.

Let the royal apparel be brought which the king useth to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the crown royal which is set upon his head: Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king's gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.

Facts

1.      Last minute miracle is a miracle that happens when you're not expecting it, when all hope is lost.

2.     It is a miracle when you're at the crossroads of life.

3.     Last minute miracle is a miracle is a miracle that happens at the end of the year.

4.     Last minute miracle is a sudden appearance of the Lord.

5.     It is the sudden help from above.

6.     It is a miracle that happens when a prayer warrior has given up.

7.     Last minute miracle is a strange divine intervention.

Things to do to get your last minute miracle

1.      Repent from all your sins

2.     Cry out for a divine intervention

Why and when does GOD do a new thing

1.         He does a new thing to show forth His glory.

2.        It is to give His children last minute breakthroughs in order to prove season and time does not hinder him.

3.        So that we can be a wonder unto many.

4.        To cancel every loss we have suffered.

5.         To give His children manna so that we know He is all sufficient.

6.        To show His supremacy.

7.         To set His people free.

Hindrances to new things/beginnings

1.       Laziness/slothfulness

2.      Foundational battles/hidden curses

3.      Unbroken life

4.      When not baptized in the HOLY GHOST

5.      Sin

6.      Hatred for positive change

How to position yourself for new beginnings;

1.       Genuine repentance

2.      Turn away from your wicked ways and forget the ugly past

3.      Call on the living GOD

4.      Give a sacrificial offering

BUILDING A SPIRIT OF FAITH

Facts about faith

1.       Faith needs to be built and nurtured

2.      No man can rise above the level of his faith

3.      It is when something has gone wrong that you would know your faith level

4.     Faith is one of the major gifts of the spirit needed for edification of the church(1^st Corinth 12:4-9)

5.      It is your faith that makes you an overcome

6.      The sixth (6^th) sense is the sense of faith

7.      Faith sees possibility in you in the midst of impossibility

8.    Faith enables you to declare your solution and victory instead of declaring your problems.

How to build your Faith

1.       You must have love. When you love God, your faith in him grows

2.      Let the word of Faith be in your mouth.

3.      Don’t declare what you are going through, declare what you are expecting.

4.      Uphold righteousness. Righteousness gives you the confidence to speak the word of God.

5.      Associate with Faith building people

6.      Carry the presence of God. The presence of God is the cheapest source of Faith.

Dan 5:24-28- Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

*Everybody would definitely have to stand on the scale of the Almighty. Once you stand on the scale and you are found wanting it means that you have fallen short of God’s assignment and desire for your life.

There are certain things measured on the scale of the Almighty

1.    Destiny- God measures our destiny to ascertain whether we have fulfilled the assignments he has given us.

2.  Spiritual life- God measures our spiritual life on his scale to ascertain whether we are spiritually hot or cold. God’s measures how well we have abided by the spiritual instructions that God has given us.

Factors that can make you found wanting on the scale

·         Many people always pursue their personal agenda and leave out  God’s agenda

·         Many people have been instructed by God to pick up an assignment in his house but they have failed to do so

·         God has instructed some people to start midnight prayers but they have failed to do so.

·         God has called some people to His service but they have dodged the call of God.

·         God has instructed some people to feed the homeless but they have failed to do so.

·         God has called some people to be intercessors but they have failed to pick up the call.

·         God has called some people to many spiritual assignments have they have neglected it

*It is important to note that once you put are on the scale of the Almighty and you are found not to bear fruit, you shall be cut down

Luke 13:9- And if it bears fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

The Way out

-Make a list of the assignments that God has given you.

-Go back to the basic instructions given in the place of quiet time

-Ask God for grace and start implementing the assignments that God has given you. By so doing you would meet up with God’s standard for your spiritual life and destiny.

Psalm 30:5

Facts

* A lot of activities take place in the night, and as a result many mornings are broken.

* The powers of darkness operate at night and that is why the bible says weeping may endure for a night.

* Night doesn't last forever, because joy comes in the morning.

* After the night comes the morning, once there is a night time situation in your life, your morning will definitely come.

* The morning represents day and the morning ushers in fruitfulness. (Joshua 10:12 &13)

* Night is when demonic powers are prevalent

*It does not matter how long you have been in darkness, morning will surely come. Exo 14:24-  And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians…

* Never allow discouragement to take over your life.

* As little as discouragement seems, it is one of the worst things that can weaken a child of God

*Discouragement is dangerous especially when you are in your dark hour especially because discouragement brings fear.

* You alone can give yourself encouragement, and discard discouragement because discouragement limits God in your life.

How to activate your morning of joy

1.     Focus on Jesus; do not focus on the problem, some people are transfixed to their problem. Fix your mind on the problem solver. Forget the problem, remember Jesus.

2.            Destroy every form of discouragement.

3.            You need to wage war against the powers that wants to prolong your night. (Matthew 13:25- But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way)
