TOPIC: THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENT

PREACHER: PASTOR CHINEDU UDECHUKWU

The dictionary defines 'necessary' as a basic requirement; absolutely unavoidable; the essential thing. God will make sure necessary things are in place before giving you that breakthrough.

1Samuel 1:6; 19-20; Hannah was looking for a son desperately, but, God was looking for a prophet.

Joseph is a classical example of how God works. God put the necessary things in place for Joseph's testimony to be great.

1.   Gen 37: 23-24; JOSEPH WAS PLACED IN THE PIT alone, God needed to teach him what it meant to be alone, the magnitude of his breakthrough was such that he needed to be taken out of his fathers house to learn certain things. Not only was Joseph alone in the pit, but also without water. He needed to learn how to be away from the care and shield of his father. He had to think and look after himself. Some of you may be in one pit or the other, but a lesson needs to be learnt for you to get to the next level. Complains don't take you anywhere rather it keeps you at a place. If you find yourself in the pit, stop complaining, learn the lessons and move on.

2. THE SECOND LESSON JOSEPH LEARNT WAS IN POTIPHAR'S HOUSE; Joseph needed to learn the customs, the traditions, and the language of Egypt. He needed to learn planning and management. He needed to understand time management, he rose to be the chief servant in Potiphar's house, he was there because he needed to understand servitude, he needed to learn what us it to be broken down.

3.  THE NEXT PHASE OF JOSEPH ARRANGEMENT WAS THE PRISON- In the prison stage God refined him. The prison was God's waiting room for him, where he learnt forgiveness, perseverance, kindness and ability to use his spiritually gift to help others. Joseph the dreamer became Joseph the interpreter, God refined him. The prison stage is not the time to think, in the prison you remember the scripture which says 'be still my soul  and know that I am the Lord.

4.    Gen 41:14-44 THE NEXT LEVEL FOR JOSEPH WAS THE PALACE, Pharoah relinquish his power to Joseph, He did all these because God was preparing him for this power and prestige.

Facts

1.     The necessary arrangement God is making for you might not be smooth as you expect it to be, but the truth is at the end he brings you to a place of power and prestige. The story of your life may not be interesting, but, necessary things are being made on your behalf, look past your current status.

2.  Whatever phase that you are in now, don't complain, don't be discouraged, it doesn't matter the level that you are in, God is  making the neccessary arrangement for your breakthrough.

3.     If you are in the pit, potiphars house or in the prison, don't be discouraged, God is taking you to the palace.
