Psalm 11:3- If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
#This is the 1st Sunday of the 1st month of the year. It is important to lay a proper foundation at the beginning of the year, to enable you stand firmly all through the year. It is important to start well at the beginning of the year so that the rest of the year can go on smoothly. It is the foundation you lay now that would determine how the year would end.
Things important to keep the foundation of the year firm:
1. Do not go into sin
2. Repent completely of all known sin
3. Do not try to please everybody
4. Keep your focus on God
5. Do not keep evil company and friends
6. Be generous to people
7. Do something for God. Make sure you work for God.
